The concept of Earth Branded Architecture - to create an AIDS clinic from the very item that symbolises hope for so many, the AIDS ribbon is simply a great idea. Jacques Kriel a student at academy IDT pushed the boundaries of EBA with this wonderful proposal. i really like the fact that the structure is wedge shaped so that the ribbon is not only read from the sky - but from ground level as well.
it would be great if the health authorities in Africa looked to ideas like this when considering the next AIDS clinic. well done Jacques - now that you've produced this gem - the pressures on for the next masterpiece.
