When next in a large metropolis observe that most structures and buildings engulfing you are possibly ornate, beautiful, monolithic. However most of these buildings lack a certain dynamic energy. it is similar when comparing most art with a Van Gogh painting or a Caravaggio, the difference in dynamic energy is staggeringly obvious. Or When you compare thought provoking poetry to a made in china instruction manual, you have words to simply convey instruction and words to start the blood pumping - To incite a revolution of thought. The same is true when comparing most sculpture with Dylan Lewis"s or Surprise Shako Mkhize's Work. These artists have bridged the gap between dynamic sculpture and static technically correct objects. There is art to fill a crochet minute, and art to fill generations of poets, designers and artists with enthusiasm and dreams of the impossible.the wildetects main objective is to create designs that are not static, that are daring and unashamedly vibrant and bold - capturing the blur representing movement in the comic strip. Designs that appear to be moving, changing, Design that appears to be something else from afar. Concepts enbodied by Disintegration of Perspective, perceived kinetic architecture, architectural shadow projection - The illusion of movement in static structure is this bold way forward. the trompe-l'oeil in architecture.
As the futurists and cubist painters began to portray movement 100 years ago. Our generation needs to pick up on this dynamic expression and carry the concept further.In Pursuit of a non static architecture and design. Perceived KINETIC ISM, Movement or the expression of movement within the static is what sets average sculpture apart from great.
