It is a realistic fact that Africa is an extremely dramatic continent when it comes to design elements within the many diverse cultures across the continent. Africa has always been independent of the rest of the worlds design ideals. Many influencers have tried to mold Africa into an extension of other continents. However it has always fervently sought its own unique creative design identity. An identity as old as the sculpted cape fold mountains. From the Sphinx, Pyramids to the Moors, Hausa, Dogon and Ndebele to mention just a few - Africa's architecture and design has always been extremely dramatic, color, texture and incredible form.
It is this incredible drama that the style of wildetecture tries to in a small way emulate. Wildetecture strives for even more drama in our designs by bringing in the wild aspects of Africa. Its this untamed aspect of Wildetectures designs that will help mold and create our expressionistic interpretation of architecture and wild nature design on Africa's continent.
Using these very Africa design points of departure as small reference, Wildetecture proposes a few examples for a design wild architectural renaissance. Definitely not to every ones taste. A bold way of conceptualizing and interpreting the untamed continent according to individual perspective. Developing a unique architectural narrative, art and design style. One born from a wold perspective.
Being influenced by what is around you, interpreting it through your own perspective. Creates new ideas not restricted by conformity of what has been.
