Over the last 3 years i have given out over 300 Erxell concept rulers.
The Erxell ruler is derived from the ancient cubit unit of measure ie 3 cubits X 3 cubits = 1 erxell square. The idea keys into the Erxell concept of actual earth branding and the selling off of a graphic earth image. Much like pixels off a computer screen - Only Erxells are overlaid on the earth surface.
The reality of any knew design idea that is left of center or off the beaten track. You simply wont get any traction from wild ideas that are not main stream. That is perfectly ok, As a creative you immediately feel ones crazy ideas are going to have huge merit. However you soon realise that is not the case. I remember several years ago i created wildetecture skate board decks that looked like swords from a viking convention 1030ad.
I skated one of my wildetecture deck designs around my complex. The young skateboard crew at first where intrigued. However the concept was an over reach of where reality was at that point. One realises as a designer you need to reign in ones ideas to bite size understanding. A car beyond a car is a radical threat. MAYA most advanced yet acceptable.
I have no doubt some of the wild design ideas put forward by wildetecture. Will fly and have merit. However im not holding my breath i will be around to see that ever happen. However its not going to stop the design wildetecture wild mindset right now.
So wildetecture has given out many Erxell rulers. They are a mini artworks. They will be sellable one day. Why? Because they represent wild unfettered design artistic creativity. They represent a moment to think wild design. None of this only get inspired by incredible moments. Its about being inspired to create all of the time. Its a flip switch in your own brain. Just next to the im worth nothing switch. So learn to flip the right switch and beat this AI at its own copy con game. Keep on human cranial thinking, keep being creative, keep being wildly artistic. Dont ever stop being artistic no matter how insecure technology makes you feel or the feelings of your own lack of ability. Just keep pushing your own unique artistic creative design expressions. Because nobody in the stream of time is as artistically unique as you are. Thats a real fact. None of this AI is that incredible artistic hype, its harvested knowledge but its not fleshly alive. its just streams of stolen data, its not sentient?? Although the snake oil salesmen will tell you otherwise. Dogs will know the difference just watch terminator. (Joke)
You are creatively incredible, dont ever forget that important fact!!!. Now go be human inspired artistically creative. You will soon know the difference between a genuine human interaction and a copy con machine. A cold calculative heart vs warm not so perfect artistic flesh.
