to create a city landscape that is in itself a human fingerprint impression is an idea that the wildetects have been exploring for a number of years - as mans cities envelope the earth and scourge its surface - threatening to create a concrete and tar encrusted layer meters thick.
it could be  an interesting experiment to create patterns and layers within the city scape landscape beyond the straightline grids we see today. some of the pattern bands could be green tree belts to create a mix of built environment and green spaces. ultimately leaving our fingerprints for us to attend - this might in some small way make us more conscious of our responsibility to this planet - and ultimately make us more sensitive to its fragile systems.
