QJD design studio new house

Working closely from the brief of  my client,  a retired Mercedes Benz motor engine mechanical engineer - We have created a really strong space to live in. With views from Blouberg Hill , across table bay and all the way to Stellenbosch. over 180 degrees of uninterrupted views.

My client decided to sculpt the plot and create the model from scratch himself. An incredible effort which has given us a great tool for the tender phase and a great tool for the rest of the team. We are all capable of being architecturaly minded. Especially engineers in a discipline perhaps not related. Designing ones own home, suddenly the mind is actively lit.
