As a creative one is endowed with a certain in built artistic confidence. An artists confidence to continually try to express your ideas through sketch, dance or whatever the medium of your choice is. As you get older you realise every force has an equal opposite reactive force. So the more you push creative ideas, the more you meet resistance to these concepts. This is all very normal. Its the wild war that one wages and rages on in your mind. Mostly against yourself and every so often a external creative critic will whip you senseless and render you completely irrelevant for a moment in time.
Mostly i don't mind all the resistance in all and every form, its the reality of expressing creative thought outside your own mind. You gonna get side swiped. Its part of the territory. Welcoming some people into your thought space they will try to paint the interior everything to complete black. They will try burn your inner house down. These types , possibly once they where artists who are currently damaged and cannot grow creative design ideas. Maybe the phase will pass the damage is done but its not permanent. Thats the beauty of creativity its about regrowth.
However every so often you will doubt yourself. You go through a process of reflective creative design ninnyism. A self pity party feeling. Then you have a little sleep and awaken with an entire new creative idea to spend every waking hour over. That is the plight of a creative artist and the work they endeavor to do shifts and turns like the tides.
However as you get older you realise the confidence to draw artistic creative endeavor is to keep you yourself personally sane. The process of creativity is to align your very own mind.
