The duration of the academy IDT multi-disciplinary draughting course is just 1 year and the students generally only start the PG bison project at the end of April. this does not give much time to find ones feet. So after 4 months the student competes with 3rd and 4th year architectural students from 25 of the 27 learning institutions around South Africa.
Next years brief is really exciting as it combines interior and exterior architecture. Cant wait to brief the next lot of creative minds. always very exciting.
