To assemble a sculpture using vehicle body parts brings both form and vibrant color to the end product design. Color being to my mind as important as structural form.
These architectural metallurgy studies help unpack an understanding of shape and complimentary color - Not yours but my simple understanding. That is what makes this exploration process most enjoyable. Like the cubist painters imagining the drama inside the space, whilst dabbling in creating the shell from all sides. Its this extended imaginative process i find most pleasurable. This concept of scientist and artistic mystery welding.
Again not really for your edification, but my own simple process of visually understanding simple forms into architectural sculptural aesthetic. For now the simple design sketch will suffice in my exploritory journey.
