To assemble a sculpture using vehicle body parts brings both form and vibrant color to the end product design. Color being to my mind as important as structural form. A simple medium for dramatic effect. Under utilised to be honest in our grey, white city landscapes.
These architectural metallurgy studies help unpack an understanding of shape and complimentary color - Not yours but for my simple understanding. That is what makes this exploration process most enjoyable. Like the cubist painters imagining the drama inside the space, whilst dabbling in creating the shell from all sides. Its this extended imaginative process i find most pleasurable. This concept of a wild Franenfort scientist and artistic mystery welding materials together.
Again not really for your edification, but my own simple process of visually trying to understand simple forms into architectural sculptural aesthetic wild form. For now the simple design sketch will suffice in my exploritory journey.
