Its certainly not a new approach or idea, however wildetectures Africa fauvistic design approach is definetly unique to us.
The fervent pursuit of a wild sculptured space surrounding urban built environments. An urban built environment that is 20% while natural nature reserves make up the remaining 80% of the available land. Our living area must be small islands within a sea of wild nature. At present if its not desert we occupy the lion share of the space, while the actual lions have very limited territory. This should reverse in order for us to survive this planet into the future. We think we taming the land however we are a virus completely destroying it.
Sadly greedy aspects within our make up are completely destroying this planet for absolute selfish gain and greed. Harvisting everything over, on and under the ground. We are taking all earths lubricant, oil to burn into poisonous vapors above. The average Joe public, which is 80% of us dont really plan as fervently as the 20%. These 20% actively create a garbage dump living environment. What scares me is that the 20% destructivites (yip not a word) are increasing to over 50% of humanity right now it seems. Humans are in full virus mode killing our host. When these elements and selfish mindsets are rooted out of our societies. (Rooted is not a strong enough word.) The rest of us Humans will thrive while we become the caretakers of earths environment. At present we are far from caretakers, we are definetly like a virulent virus taking all we can out. Hell bent on killing off our earth host. At present the greedy prevail and the altruistic sit back shocked at mans total dominant destructability. (Sure its not a word. But neither is human common sense a reality) Ancient wise wisdom has put forth. "The meek shall inherit the earth." Its perfectly understandable why this is a fact. The arrogant are far to stupid to comprehend and change the folly of their selfish idiotic ways. Humility is the one creative quality that is so alusive to display as a designer. However its the one quality where we put others ahead of ourselves. The one quality where our designs benefit humanity and all earths passengers.
When we can all put back 80% more and take out only 20%. We will be on our way to being less like the ebola virus we are. When our systems end products are pure water and oxygen. We will have arrived at the next level. At present we are very far off this ideal. We take, butcher and destroy 99% of our planet and 1% are trying very hard to honorably live life to save it. Im not anywhere near the 1% level. However there are those who live incredible lives putting way back more than they take out. And if you think putting money down as your way to pay back. You sadly dont really understand anything of altuistic preservation. You can simply keep all your money while your entire world burns around us all. This systems fervent pursuit of money fuels the inferno fire of greed and complete idiotcrisy. (nope now i know that aint a word)
