Teaching a subject as broad as design is an incredible challenge. The most important lesson for me is spark. The moment a student is ignited to express concept ideas is the catalyst to try aspire to. As a chalk and talk teacher one is super inspired when a student realises their own unique potential. Often this moment produces a raging forge of incredible work. Often this work far exceeds that of the teachers ability. Just being a part of someone getting inspired, motivated and excited to express themselves through creative design is a huge value beyond measure. Its the value a teacher gets.
