having designed numerous homes around south Africa,  to revisit each set of construction drawings and to re-look at the many draughted for construction sets  is rather therapeutic. i remember each  and every stress point on every architectural  job.  most of the  construction issues and of course the personalities.  the tetchy moments interior designers tried to obliterate windows from my design to accommodate the TV. or the decision to create a captains cellar during the earthworks. or the hoofing off of a contractor. the design process is great - the getting the job built from drawings is the artistry.
